Best food in Guadalajara! How this restaurant is struggling with a 4.1 rate review I do not know.. Far superior then many we visited which has 4.6. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. The serving staff was kind and patient with our lack of Spanish. View and setting was warm and inviting with a great Cathedral square view. he food was the best. We are returning from Canada and La Antigua will be our first dinner stop. Well done and thank you for a memorable experience.
Very good food, to share the Platón Antiguo between two can be recommended+the piñada, and it’s a bonus getting table next to the doors with view of the Plaza de Armas🤙 (and check the translation for Cafe Cortado on the menu😂)

We had breakfast here several times and it was very good. There are several balconies that offer nice views of the cathedral and plaza. Service was good and the prices reasonable.
This place did not disappoint. Low priced but great food. Chili Rellanoes for me. Drinks were half priced which was nice. The food quantity was massive, two chili rellanoes filled the plate. I could only eat one and was one of the best rellanoes I ever had. Took the second to my wife and she said the same. Recommend this.
A quick 10 minute walk from the Hilton Doubletree Hotel is this restaurant. What a great place to find! Tucked away on the street up to the second floor where you can imbibe with an incredible Centro view, on good local food, some 2 for 1 drinks, made well with real ingredients. It's off the street so chaos is left behind. Staff as a whole, polite, limited English, but clearly engaged in delivering good service. If you can ask for Salvadore, he's excellent and quite fun to have around! You will not be disappointed here.

First floor restaurant with great view on the square and the cathedral. Staff is friendly, but hardly speak English. Prices are good, beer two for the price of one. We tried the tacos dorados con carnitos and the enchiladas con pollo, which were tasty. And for dessert playanos con helados, hmmmm. Would strongly recommend eating at this restaurant.
